The Accounting Technician is responsible for assisting in keeping a systematic and up to date record of the Agency's financial records. Must be proficient in Excel. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects/ deadlines a must. Applicant should have experience with daily transactions (AR, AP, GL entries) and be driven by internal controls procedures. Preference will be given to applicants with a mini- mum of a two-year accounting certificate or those with two years of accounting experience (in lieu of certificate/degree).
