The position is responsible for assisting in keeping a systematic and up to date record of the Agency's financial records. Must be proficient in Excel, including practical application of functions such as conditional formatting, data validation, pivot tables, macros and other advanced functionality. The preferred candidate will have experience maintaining or creating Excel financial reports and analyses using data exports from text, pdf and Excel formats. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects/deadlines a must. Applicant should have experience with daily transactions (AR, AP, GL entries) and be driven by internal controls procedures. Experience with managing payroll and benefits a plus. The individual will be responsible for adherence to the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles and Audit Requirements. Lakes and Pines receives federal and state grant funding. Fund or governmental accounting experience is preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with a degree in the Accounting field.
