VITA is a Free Tax Assistance program that assists low and moderate-income households, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and limited English- speaking tax filers who need assistance in preparing their tax return. Volunteer training starts in January! Experience is appreciated but not required. Training is provided. Volunteers needed for Tax Preparation, Appointment check in, and review. We have opportunities to volunteer in Moose Lake, Pine City, Cambridge, Milaca, North Branch, Mora and Remote options.
