Head Start Manager of Family & Community Engagement As the Head Start Manager of Family & Community Engagement you will: Be responsible for management of the Family and Community Engagement, Health, and Childcare options of Early Head Start/Head Start. The Manager participates in activities and partnerships between EHS/Head Start and outside entities, as well as assisting in program administration. He/She is responsible for the overall supervision and training needs of the Family Community Engagement, Health, and Partnership staff and for the planning, implementing, and evaluation of services provided to each Early Head Start/Head Start Child enrolled Childcare options. He/she is responsible for the ongoing monitoring of ERSEA (Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance)/ Health. We are excited to offer you $20.53 - 21.79/hour. Medical, dental and life insurance. Retirement with 5% match after meeting enrollment requirements. Vacation and medical leave. 12 paid holidays per year (indluding 1 floating holiday). Work mileage reimbursement at the current government rate. Education reimbursement opportunities for approved education plans and also many professional development opportunities. Qualifications Individual must possess high level of written and verbal communication skills, be flexible, highly organized, and sensitive to overall needs and issues low-income families face. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; administration experience in a supervisory capacity; and able to work effectively with people on both an individual and group basis. This position will be located at the Lakes & Pines' Central Office located in Mora. Valid driver's license required for business travel.
