Ogilvie Public Schools is seeking applicants for a NEW Paraeducator Supervisor Position for the 2021-2022 school year. Posting Period/Deadline: August 10, 2021 or until filled Applicant must have a two-year post-secondary/associate degree, or additional training that would be beneficial to this assignment. Applicant must have hiring, supervising, disciplining and/or evaluating employee experience. Prefer applicant with Special Edu- cation program experience and CPR/First Aid certification. Applicant must have excellent organization, scheduling and communication skills. Position will be responsible for assisting administration with creating a master paraedu- cator schedule for the 2021-2022 school year; maintaining daily schedule and assigning substitutes, welcoming/training new paraeducators and performing the annual evaluation of paraeducators. This is a non-union position within the District. Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience and skills of applicant Duty Days: 147 student contact days (9 hour days); 60 flexible hours for summer work and staff development planning. 1473 contract hours (includes 90 paid holiday hours).
