Ogilvie Public Schools is seeking applicants for a Shared Early Childhood Special Education Teacher/ Learning Disabilities Special Education Elementary Teacher Full-time position at Ogilvie Elementary School beginning in the 2023-2024 school year. Seeking highly motivated candidates to provide specialized instruction and services to students who have Individualized Education Plans under ECSE and/or LD criteria in a resource room for students ages birth through 6th grade. This candidate will work alongside other special education teachers K-6. This Special Education teacher will provide case management, instruction, evaluation, and ongoing assessment and will work as a team member serving students with various disabilities. This particular position entails following a highly structured program to help students gain pos- itive school experience, learn routines, and provide support for a successful transition between activities and classrooms. Under the direction of district administrators, the Special Education Teacher is responsible for assisting the District in assessing and identifying students with special needs in early childhood special education and the learning disabilities category of special education. The Special Education Teacher plans for, develops and implements individualized education programs and instruction in academic areas in collaboration with other educational professionals and administrators in designing, modifying and delivering specialized academic instruction and behavior management strategies for students. Qualifications: Must have a valid teaching certificate in MN. Licensed in area of Special Education is preferred. Salary: Based on District Teachers' Master Agreement (Q Comp pay is also available).
