An alternative to a Bachelor's degree is 4 years of experience supporting older adults/families in social services, health care or other relevant settings, or a combination of work and college credits approved by the local AAA. Two years of experience working with family, friends and/or neighbors caregiving and older adults in one-to-one consultation in interviewing, screening/assessment, identifying needs/values, goal setting, planning and evaluation of results.
