Assistant Director EAST CENTRAL SOLID WASTE COMMISSION, a 5 county-owned, joint powers entity providing mixed solid waste services for the counties of Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Pine, and Mille Lacs. Sites located at ECSWC- Mora Landfill, Cambridge and Hinckley Transfer Stations. Job tasks include: serve as safety director planning and implementing programs to train employees in worksite safety practices, supervision of staff, oversite of construction projects and capital purchases, inspection of facilities for safety and adherence to permits, completing reports, strong organizational, budgeting and time management skills. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, Project Management. Related experience such as construction management, supervision, other accredited higher education may replace degree requirement as approved by the ECSWC Board. Experience operating or usage of heavy equipment is desirable. This position does provide opportunity for advancement for the right individual. Job is open until filled by appropriate candidate.
