Duties include accounts payable & receivable, data practices, records retention compliance, processing various permits and license applications, process receipts/deposits, maintain office filing system, prepare various annual reports, general receptionist duties, prepare City newsletter, update City website, Cable Access Channel, and Facebook, election administration, and other administrative duties. High School diploma or G.E.D. is required. Two years of post-secondary course work in accounting desirable. Post-secondary course work in secretarial and office skills desirable. One-year secretarial work experience required. Ability to handle contact with the general public with tact and courtesy required. Exceptional computer skills with Microsoft Office products required, with experience in using FundBalance desirable. The successful candidate will have demonstrated dependability, responsibility, and self-motivation qualities. Salary range of $53,851 - $55,931, depending on qualifications.
