Ogilvie Public Schools is seeking applicants for multiple positions in the Technology Department for the 2021-2022 school year. Due to implementing a 1:1 device structure for all students at Ogilvie Public Schools, as well as other technology related additions and improvements within the district, we are seeking applicants for positions within the Technology Department for the 2021-2022 school year. Technology Assistant: This position works in the Technology Department on student school days to provide support to district users, including both staff and students, as well as supporting district software and equipment. Requirement: 1 year computer support related certificate or equivalent experience. Work experience within education system preferred. Hours: Typically 7:30 am 4:00 pm, Tuesday Friday, 147 student school days Position Start Date: August 30th, 2021 District Technician: This position is the lead technician for the district to keep all technology running effectively and supporting all users. Requirement: Experience with networks, servers, switches, controllers, printers, PCs and mobile devices. Knowledge and skills to effectively manage district equipment and software. Hours: Full time/ year round Position Start Date: ASAP District Technology Specialist: This position is with limited part time hours and is responsible for specific district systems to maintain security and integrity. Requirement: In depth experience and knowledge of networks and servers. Hours: Flexible, however, availability to work at times when system issues occur is preferred.
