Duties Include: complex zoning administration, administration of the county's physical planning program, comprehensive plan, zoning ordinance, local plans, and other land and water resources division processes for the County; participation with local and state units of government and general public serves as advisory role to the Director on affiliated water resources, parks, and solid waste divisions of the Dept, and carries out direct coordination of assigned land and water resources division staff; Drafts land use policies, reports, and zoning ordinances, staffs the Board of Adjustment and Appeals and Planning Commission on zoning, rezoning, conditional/interim use permits variances; Assists the department Directorin planning, administering, coordinating, and directing planning and zoning activities; other duties as assigned. Desired Qualifications: bachelors degree in planning or related field; 5 years of zoning/planning experience; MA in planning or related field OR 3 years of additional experience may be substituted.
