ASL Interpreter Position Student Contact Days Only Location: Mora Elementary School Job Duties include: To assist the Classroom Teacher in achieving the early learning objectives identified in the Individual Educational Program Plan (IEP). Provide interpretation of the instructional tasks assigned and facilitation of the communication that takes place in the classroom. Qualifications: Prefer Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. (RID) certified interpreter but will accept an applicant who has successfully completed an interpreter-training program affiliated with an accredited educational institution. Experience with primary students, collaboration skills, and knowledge of cued speech to facilitate early learning speech and reading activities is a plus.
