SPECIAL EDUCATION-DCD TEACHER MORA MUSTANGS *Beginning 2022-2023 school year* 1.0 FTE 184 Contract Days Location: Mora Elementary School Job Duties include: Developing lesson plans and conducting small group instruction for students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities. This position also requires evaluating and assessing both instructional material and student performance, meeting with parents and guardians, and interpreting student progress. The teacher will support students academically, socially and behaviorally; fostering independence and individual growth through a positive and collaborative learning environment. The teacher will also guide and assist paraprofessionals along with creating their daily schedules. Qualifications: Appropriate Minnesota Teaching License in Special Education-DCD, or ability to obtain, required. Experience working with DCD elementary students is preferred. Must be self-directed, supportive, and collaborative to meet student and staff needs.
