School Counselor or Social Worker Position *Beginning 2022-2023 school year* 1.0 FTE 184 Contract Days LOCATION: Mora Elementary School Specific experience and/or Knowledge: Performs professional work in individual, small group, and/or classroom settings to guide, assess, mentor, and counsel students. Edu- cate and provide emotional support, personal counseling, and other services to meet the unique needs of students. Collaborate with staff and parents to make recommendations for student success. Job Duties Indlude: Successful candidates will meet with students individually and in groups to work on specific skills. The Candidate will help create lessons for classroom teachers and may lead short lessons in the classroom. Candidates will lead our MTSS process for grades K-2, be a leader in helping promote PBIS and Olweus programs in our school, and coordinate any 504 plans as assigned. Qualifications: K-12 MN School Counselor or PK-12 Social Worker License required. Experience in an elementary setting is preferred.
