Kanabec County Clean Up Day & Hazardous Waste Collection Saturday, October 18, 2025 8:00 am - Household Hazardous Waste Collection: Must Pre-register Environmental Services, 903 Forest Ave, Mora. 320-679-6456 12:00 pm | Mora, East Central Solid Waste Facility 3 miles west of Mora at Hwy. 23 & 180th Ave (Co Rd 60). Go west of Mora on Co. Rd. 6, south on Co. Rd. 12, east on 180th. (Vehicles will be prohibited from turning off Hwy 23 on 180th). Watch for signs. All of these items are recycled; components are re-used. The focus is on recyclable materials. Appliances Must be empty Tires $10 refrigerator, freezer, microwave, stove, dishwasher, disposal, washer, dryer, water heater, pumps, humidifier, furnace, air conditioner, etc. $5 Tires/Auto (17" or less) $4 Bicycle/atv tires $55 Oversize/Tractor Tire (Greater than 22") $17 Semi Tires (18"-22") TV $25 less than 20" $35 20"-30" $45 30" & larger, consoles Computers, Electronics Printer, DVD, scanner, etc Mattresses NO CHARGE $10 hard drive, keyboard, laptop $20 Computer monitor $40 Commercial scanner/copier $5 Any small electronic item (DVD, stereo, etc). $30 Any size, mattresses or box springs. Must be dry and clean or we cannot take them. *Scrap Metal: No 55 gal drums with lids. Propane tanks must be empty and vented. We CANNOT accept sealed drums.. *Cell phones We accept old cell phones and phone batteries. Recyclable materials: Tin, plastic, paper, glass, magazines, aluminum, corrugated cardboard-NOT accepted at Clean Up Day. Contact: Quality Disposal, Ogilvie, 320-272-4692 Arthur Township, Mora, 320-679-1347 Garbage, Furniture: Items go in the landfill. Garbage goes over the scale, charged regular rates. Can be delivered any weekday or Sat. am. THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO KANABEC COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY We reserve the right to refuse items. Owner must remove hazardous waste if not preregistered for the HHW collection.
