About
We provide on-call, nationally certified, career and volunteer firefighters with experience levels ranging from 1 to 42 years of service. All firefighters are at a minimum first responder certified and work in conjunction with Allina Medical, North Memorial and Lakes Region Medical Transportation Teams. Our members are trained & certified to the hazardous material operational level. Fire Prevention and Educational classes are provided for children in preschool, primary, middle and intermediate schools in the Isanti Area. Classes are also available for other organizations as well.
Fire Suppression
Provided by on-call, nationally certified, licensed, career and volunteer firefighters with experience levels ranging from 1 to 40 years of service. Our firefighters live throughout the Fire District.
Rescue
All firefighters are at a minimum first responder certified and work in conjunction with Allina Medical, North Memorial and Lakes Region Medical Transportation Teams. Confined Space, high/low angle, and trench rescue are areas of Technical Rescue that we train and drill in.
Hazardous Materials
Isanti Fire District members are trained and certified to a minimum of hazardous material operational level. This enables us to respond and mitigate accidental spills and releases.
Fire Prevention/Public Education Classes
Fire Prevention and Educational classes are provided for children in preschool, primary, middle and intermediate schools in the Isanti Area. Classes are also available for other organizations including; 4-H, daycare facilities, community churches, etc.
Fire Investigation
All investigations are provided by the Incident Commander and the State Fire Marshall.
Prefire Planning
The Isanti Fire District uses a computer software program which allows us to create custom, detailed floor and site plans for commercial buildings, schools, apartment complexes, condos, churches, and Hazmat locations.
